One may ask how I spend my days. And well, most would boggle at my answers. Today, boggled my mind.
Wanna hear??? tuff toodles, you get to anyways ๐
A bit of background before I start the day.
Our oldest turned 17 last week. We bought him ticket’s to a Phoenix Coyote’s NHL game. A “boy’s night out”; game is tonight. Hubby went, my BIL went and my sister’s boyfriend went along with said son. And another tidbit of info (you will understand where this fits in when you are reading) about 2 days ago my dryer quit, I even tried to take it apart to fix it, thought I had it but nope, it’s definately dead! Oh and on Thursday nights, our oldest dd babysits for a friends little boy.
now just a bit of my day (leaving out little “minor” things LOL ugh)
~wake up
~get kids ready for school
~bus run and drop kids off at school
~come home get sammy, noah and joey dressed
~mess around with dryer
~get call from todd to bring the pick up truck to home depot
~load 3 littles into truck
~pick up new dryer
~run home with the 3 youngest help unload dryer
~clean up good and get dryer installed (by myself cause hubby had to work our store)
~run jojo up to therapy
~get call from todd that i am needed at work asap
~grab lunch for me and 3 youngest
~pick up joey from therapy
~drop joey off at preschool (after he eats in the car on the way)
~run to work get some things done
~run home with about 5 minutes before bus comes
~get kids off bus
~inform kids that are home of my schedule of hurried events for the rest of the day
~had to run back to the store to help with one thing since todd was coming home early
~get a call at work from our therapist (who had jojo and auggie)
jojo cracked his head open at the park, she stopped the bleeding but she thought he needed to be seen
~call my sister while speeding home
~she comes and watches the kids and makes them supper and makes them do homework LOL since todd had already left and ashley was about to
~get home
~rush jojo to the er
~sit for 2.5 freaking hours while he is dripping blood and crying
~get him back to a room
~they get him cleaned up while he is screaming bloody murder (i have mentioned before that Josiah has autism and global developmental delays, he functinos on about a 2 year old level, yet he is a very large 5 year old)
~he gets 5 staples, no numbing stuff
~go home exhausted (and btw had baby with for ALL of this)
~sister helps me get jojo settled and then leaves
I didn’t eat until about 8:45 pm. After I made calls to Todd and our oldest dd. And our therapist called very worried about him.
jojo is out of it, he did get some motrin, he’s not throwing up but we are watching for signs of head trauma/concussion
the rest of the night is kinda a blur. the other kids are obviously upset. Auggie is freaked out. He doesn’t understand why they had to use staples. He was crying for Josiah, which is unusual for him. ๐ฆ Broke my heart.
The boys are on their way back from Phoenix and I am snuggled into bed with my nice warm blankie and slowly drifting into slumberland.
Pics to come tomorrow. I got the saddest pic of Joey at the hospital, head all bandaged up. I sent it to my email and am just waiting for the thing to go from phone to computer! LOL technology, isn’t it grand???
